4. The New Pokemon Sun and Moon Starters Comparison:

In general, each new Pokemon Sun and Moon starters has its own strengths and weaknesses. Popplio excels at Special Attack (126) and Defense (116), while Incineroar is strong at Attack (115) and Defense (90), and Decidueye which is a balance pokemon and both Special and Non-special.

According to many players, Popplio’s final evolution – Primarina is a great force to reckon with in competitive scene, due to its unique a Water/Fairy-type and various threatening moves like the Hyper Voice. Even so, some players may not prefer Primarina due to its low speed. However, that weakness can be managed with Aqua Jet. One the other hand, many people think Popplio is not a good choice for early game; however, its late game’s capability is excellent.

In contrast to Popplio/Primarina, Litten/Incineroar is a nice new Pokemon Sun and Moon starters at the early game in Alola Region. Since players will encounter lots of Bug and Grass-type Pokemon in Alola, Fire is a staple to burn away those “pestering Pokemon”. However, late game is when Incineroar becomes inferior choice in many trial battles. Also, it is not a good in competitive scene due to its low speed and its easily-to-be-exploited weaknesses.

Lastly, Rowlet/Decidueye is a balanced-stat pokemon, it does not excel at any Attack or Special Attack stat. However, Rowlet/Decidueye is said to be a decent choice to march throughout the game. However, it is not considered highly by some players due to its normal stat, making it not spectacularly strong in both late game and competitive scene. Despite its balanced stats, the shining point of Decidueye is its high speed, and in many cases: its Spirit Shackle which can prevent Pokemon from running away or switching out.

And that’s it folk! Coming up next, we will have a more in-depth analysis of these new Pokemon Sun and Moon starters to determine which one is the best! For the meanwhile, stay tune for more news in the future!
