Mega Man is a “mega” series and also the childhood of many, many gamers including us. It has been a very long time since the last Mega Man and just like Red Dead Redemption; we would never think that Capcom will decide to revive this franchise again. But in fact, they did! Or to be more precisely, Capcom has been making this new Mega Man title called Mega Man 11 and it is expected to release this year. Far Cry 4 was a good game with really solid gameplay and interesting story, especially the villain named Pagan Min. However, the game was criticized at the same time for copying Far Cry 3. Many players considered the game as “Far Cry 3.5 reskinned”. So what does Ubisoft decide to do with this new Far Cry? So far, it seems the game will bring us to the dystopia version of America in Montana County and we can expect certain religious controversies here. We’re still not really sure about how this sort of controversy will work out in game. But nonetheless, let’s wait to find out!

5. Anthem

Frankly speaking, EA has messed up really big time in 2017 with Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Need For Speed Payback. Bioware too has really disappointed lots of fans due to the underwhelming Mass Effect Andromeda. Therefore, Bioware’s new title Anthem is going to be a big chance for both them and EA to redeem themselves. Based on their 2017 E3 gameplay trailer, the game looks stunning indeed. The gameplay looks quite interesting with all its Javelins cybernetic suit concept and multiplayer. Of course, trailer alone does not reflect the true quality of the game, yet, let’s just hope for the best, shall we?

It still features fans’ favorite Spider-Man stealth gameplay, while the combat looks heavily borrowing from the famous Batman Arkham series. Of course, borrowing does not entirely mean bad since everything seems smooth and satisfying. And definitely we can’t forget the feeling of jumping, bungee-ing around in Spider-Man’s style. Since the graphic looks gorgeous, we can expect a fantastic experience traveling around the city of New York City.

.

He finally makes a new return in the new God of War title featuring the ancient land of Norse Mythology. And to make things more interesting, the god does not travel alone: This time, he has a son. It is really fascinating because we will get to see other side of Kratos – not simply a killing machine of vengeance, but a father and also a mentor raising his own child. The interesting things about Days Gone are the main protagonist and the freedom of dealing with various situations given to us. 19. Code Vein

  • Developer: Bandai Namco
  • Platform: PS4, Xbox One, PC

Dark Souls is a huge series. It is so huge that people starting to call many games with high difficulty or having similar gameplay mechanics as “Souls-like” games. To be honest, not all “Souls-like” games can succeed. So far, the best example of them is probably Nioh. That said; such obstacles won’t stop developers from trying to make new games with Souls games’ formula. In 2018, we will get to see a new “Souls-like” game named Code Vein. The game is kind of “Dark Souls in anime style” which looks pretty good in our opinions.
