list of legendary pokemon part 2 - 11

Embodiment of Air: Mega Rayquaza (Source: Internet)

Rayquaza is a Dragon/Flying-type Pokemon which has a long, serpent-like body with green tone. It has yellow eyes and yellow lines run from its neck to its tail tip. Rayquaza is the master of the Weather Trio and since the ancient time it settled the dispute between Groudon and Kyogre. As the embodiment of Air, Rayquaza has the ability to control and manipulate air, as one of example is that it can fly and harness its speed freely. Its signature Dragon Ascent is extremely dangerous as it can inflict massive damage and lower both Defense and Special Defense of the target.

Normally, Rayquaza lives in the higher layers, it is said to be able to easily pass the Ozone layer and live in even higher plains. Rayquaza often protects the Earth from outer space meteors and threats.

With Mega Evolution, Rayquaza becomes Mega Rayquaza, a Dragon/Flying-type Pokemon. Mega Rayquaza has a much more massive body, its head and its body becomes more imposing, along with its red-orange tendrils growing from its body. These tendrils are said to allow Rayquaza to change the air particles, resulting in full control of air humidity and density.
